PhD Position American Foundation Scholarship in Human-Computer Interaction


The American Foundation Scholarship candidate is supposed to participate in the department’s ongoing research in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI). More specifically, we seek a PhD candidate oriented towards research on post-representational HCI/interaction design, open innovation, and new and emerging digital practices. We seek a PhD American Foundation Scholarship candidate interested in doing empirical, theoretical and design-oriented research contributing to the area of HCI. We are also interested in a PhD candidate who seeks to combine areas such as architecture, cultural- and historical studies and design for the purpose of advancing the field of human-computer interaction.

American Foundation Scholarship Qualifications: master’s degree (candidates with any suited disciplinary and interdisciplinary background are welcome to apply), excellent command of written and spoken English.

Research assistant American Foundation Scholarship


Research American Foundation Scholarship lies within the scope of a European Commission project on "European Citizens attitudes and behaviours concerning personal identity data management".

The research assistant's American Foundation Scholarship work will include:

Literature reviews
Summaries and reports
Statistical analyses

Qualifications

A Good masters degree (or PhD.) in statistics, economy, management, social sciences, psychology, information and communication technologies or related subject.

Necessary qualities

- Scientific rigor and motivation for research
- Work efficiency and capacity to understand theoretical developments
